Abstract:
the correct identification of the cardiopulmonary, stop signs, symptoms and
causes, as well as the forms of treatment in hospitals and out of it, are of extreme importance
to the reduction of sudden deaths. Deems necessary that nurses in primary care are secure
regarding the application of their conduct and handling of their abilities by a stop Respiratory
Cardio (PCR). Objectives: Analyze the conduct of nurses outside the recognition of
cardiopulmonary arrest and execution of cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers; describe
socioeconomic variables and concerning the formation and professional performance of
nurses (a) of the ESF; investigate the time of training for nurses working in family health
Strategy; find out the following CPR Protocol for these nurses; Verify access to the automated
external defibrillator in the basic unit of health and safety in your handling of the defibrillator.
Methodology: cross-sectional Study of exploratory character, with a quantitative approach,
carried out with 24 nurses (a) active in primary care of three municipalities in the region of
Brazil Brazil. Professionals were excluded above 60 years and those who refuse to participate
in the research. The data was stored and analysed by using SPSS (Statistical Package for the
Social Sciences), in that If employed the inferential statistics, Chi-square, use considering
significance of p < 0.05. The research project was submitted to the Research Ethics
Committee of the hospital Alcides Castro, being approved under the CAAE
04729218.0.0000.5182 Protocol. Only after the approval, began collecting data in accordance
with the provisions of resolution No. 466/2012 of the National Health Council
(CNS)/Ministry of health (MS), which rules on research with human beings. Results: the
study showed a prevalence of professionals being female, having an average age of 32 years,
being in marital union stable with the presence of children and income average three
minimum wages. Most graduated in public institutions and do not have graduate degrees. To
find out how the management and protocols used in PCR, these showed an insufficient
knowledge. Such a condition confirmed the null hypothesis of this research. In this sense it is
understood how essential the importance of these professionals remain inserted, whenever
possible, in the programs and courses that promote a continuing education, with it will be able
to keep updated. Final thoughts: I hope that this study will motivate the production of new
publications that are scarce in the current literature, which is a forerunner and awaken the
desire in the managers, not just of the studied municipal districts, to develop new actions, in
addition to condition and enable the access of these professionals in development programs
and professional rise. Continuing education is arguably the primary means in seeking,
promoting and improving the quality of nursing care, since the success of the interventions is
directly linked to the level of preparedness of these professionals in the counter of the various
situations.
