In this paper is studied the Schwarzschild black hole in the presence of a global monopole, and the effects that this kind of topological defect brings to the spacetime geometry. Initially, using the metric which describes this space-time, we how the global monopole affects the deviation of the orbit of the Mercury planet, and also analyze the stability of orbits based on the calculation of potentias. Then, we consider that the global monopole has in their neighborhoods the quintessence and form the metric obtained, by asuming that the black holes emit characteristic vibration modes, we calculate the so-called quasi-normal modes of vibration and the associated frequencies. Finally, even in this context, we study the thermodynamics of black holes, trying to get mechanical laws, similar to the usual classical thermodynamic laws.
