Resumo:
This work has as main objective: to describe the experience of participation as a nursing student and extensionist in the Integrative Community Therapy Project as a Liberating Practice of the Education and Health Center / UFCG. This is a descriptive study of the type of experience report, with a qualitative character, to describe the experience of an extensionist in the Extension Project in 2017 and 2018, with two editions. Each edition lasted one year, following a biweekly schedule of activities. Among the actions carried out, the circles of Integrative Community Therapy were developed, as well as some Integrative and Complementary Practices. It was possible to observe several benefits with the execution of the Project, among them, the strengthening of ties, greater interaction and well-being reported by the participants, dissemination of Integrative Community Therapy and other practices, such as participation in events with professionals who bet and advocated these new approaches to care. At the end of the Extension Project's actions, it was observed the relevance of disseminating Integrative and Complementary Practices with the community, expanding new paths of care for the population. In turn, the dissemination of these approaches of care from the academic formation to awaken a new look on the integrality of the care is notorious.
