Resumen:
The dyslexia is a learning disturbance that affects children in all of the education levels, hindering the reading and writing and consequently their understanding, being usually diagnosed in the beginning of the literacy process. The present work has as objective analyzes the production academic Brazilian of articles on the theme, identifying the profile of that production, in that areas of the knowledge have been published and the explanatory models usually used. We tried to do a bibliographical revision of the theme, drawing a report, some concepts, causes and symptoms. A bibliographical research was accomplished in Scielo's base, newspapers' electronic library of free access. The used methodology was quantitative and qualitative. Appearing for the areas of the neurology and of the psychology that more they published concerning the dyslexia. Among the results, 56 (fifty six) were found, distributed among the years of 2002 and 2013, in the psychology's area (36%), neurology (21%), ophthalmology (11%), fonoaudiologia (18%), pedagogy (5%), among other no identified (6%). Among those publications the explanatory model more used is model of the medical area with (58% (fifty eight) of the publications. Our intention is to lift questions concerning the conflicting visions on the dyslexia and to show that their concept is something in construction, however, in spite of having adopted different explanatory models there is an unequivocal contribution for the treatment and attendance to the dyslexic child.
