Resumo:
The study of Chemical Solutions is known to be one of the most important for the formation
of the student of middle level, since it is present in several situations and products used every
day. However, it is observed that many are the learning difficulties presented by the students,
mainly due to presenting a range of concepts and mathematical calculations. Therefore, this
study aims to elaborate and apply a didactic sequence for the content of Chemical Solutions.
This is an explanatory and field research, developed with students of the third year of the
Bernardino José Batista State School. Therefore, a didactic sequence was applied with
activities focused on the contextualization of the content of Chemical Solutions with the
Saneante theme, as the presentation of Virtual Learning Objects, a dialogical expository class
and the application of pre and post test questionnaires. The activities developed showed the
lack of learning of basic concepts on Chemical Solutions and lack of contextualization. On the
other hand, they showed how the application of the didactic sequence made possible an
effective participation of the students in the construction of knowledge and consequently in
the appropriation of meaningful learning. Therefore, the use of contextualized teaching
methodologies that use technology as a tool, with the use of workshops and lectures can favor
students' learning, providing motivation and active participation.
