Résumé:
The area of the Barbado's creek basin was chosen due to its location and importance in the city. The basin run through two distinct geologic formations in its path, building the Cuiaba group. The objective of this work was to create a Standard Penetration Test database (BDSPT), georeferenced in an environment of a geographic information sistem (GIS), seeking to use as data source of the urban phisical environment, the information of the probing reports supplied by the companies that work in the field ofgeotechnic prospection in Cuiaba, MT, as subsidy to urban planning. Through BDSPT, probed data were analysed, allowing for a knowledge of the NA, types of soil, NSPT, Impenetrable, for both the homogeneous units (area of slope, plain of inundation, area of overfloowed, thus labeled by the Chart Geotechnic of Cuiaba (1990), and for formations (Miguel Sutil e Coxipo River, thus labeled by the Chart Geol6gic,(MIGLIORINI 2000). The result was the creation of a powerful tool of analysis and theme map creation, on an interactive digital environment, in the urban areas already consolidated. The software used were EXCEL, AUTOCAD, ACCESS and ARCVIEW.
