Perfil da violência contra mulheres atendidas em um Centro de Referência de Cajazeiras - PB.

Abstract

Violence against women is a problem from social and health order, represents the main form of their human rights violation. It is a grievance that has always been present in society and It develops separated from the women characteristics, which are subject to a violence act in any stage of their life, characterizing as a difficult problem of confrontation and complaint. In that sense, the study was developed to understand the violence profile used against women attended in a Reference Center from Cajazeiras - PB from 2010 to 2013. It is a documental, retrospective and exploratory research with a quantitative approaching. 157 forms were analyzed, which was founded a profile in victims at reproductive age, with elementary school incomplete, white, married, household and with children. Most of them don´t have disabilities and other disorders. In relation to the violence suffered their companion was the most aggressor reported, the residence was the main place of moral, physical, psychological and violence occurrence. Therefore, the study enables the strategies articulation and resources to assist in the service provided to these women by professionals involved, and also influences in the development of new researches intending to make possible the changing of the current reality.
