Resumo:
Associated to the problem-objective of offter to small and average producers of
peanuts a more efficient alternative and relatively lowcosts for the operation of
peeling of peanuts, one activity that uses great manual labor in the northeast region,
especially the state of Paraiba, this work aim, to characterize a mechanism used
in a motion system of a semicyiinder responsible by the breaking of peanut pods.
As a theorical support, there has been done a bibliographic revision concerning
details of the most diverse types of peeling machines for peanuts. The
characterization of the mechanism is the step of the machine design related to the
cinematic and dynamic project of articulated systems, In the analysis and composition
of the mechanical-machine system developed for peeling of peanuts, a
mechanism of eigth bars is considered, that is, eight elements connected for the setting
into final motion and the moviment of the semi-cylinder leads to the break of the
peanuts, without damaging the seeds. In the evaluation of the physical system,
starting from the cinematic and dynamic mathematical model, for the
connected elements in the continuos mode of the mechanism, will be
considered to verify eventual dead points (locking) in the system. Results of the
machine characterization by the mechanical putting into motion will be presented,
through the graphical vectorial, analytical, decomposition of forces, methods and
D'Alambert principle, as wellas the angle of sweeping and some experimental results.
Suggestion are presented for future work in this area.
