Résumé:
The Global Positioning System (GPS) is present in a variety of devices and it is used as reference for several other time base systems, as well as other physical quantities such as altitude, latitude and longitude. There are devices that intentionally generate interference, known by jammers, which degrade the reception of GPS signals by overlapping a signal usually in the same frequency and with a larger power than the GPS received signal, difficulting the synchronization of receivers with system satellites or causing it be not possible, thereby precluding its use. The Independent Component Analysis (ICA) is proposed to be used as a way to separate the intentional interference (jamming) of GPS signals. Via computer simulation using the algorithm FastICA, it was shown that it is possible to separate the GPS jamming signal.
