Science and Technology are ways man has found to evolve and chart his future. Thus, with constant advances in the areas of technology and science, our society has undergone changes to the time in all possible sectors, especially in the field that deals with access to knowledge, increasingly new technologies prove effective when it comes to of receiving and sharing information example, ICTs (Information and Communication Technologies) that can play an important role in education. This work aimed to investigate students' views on the use of ICTs in Biology classes at a state school in the city of Picuí-PB, verifying if students have knowledge about ICTs and their importance, investigating the frequency with which ICTs are used by students and teachers, to analyze whether ICTs significantly aid student learning. The research had a quantitative character, and the questionnaire was used as instrument of data collection. The research was carried out from June 2018 to June 2019. Data were analyzed through the Bardin content analysis. Some of the results show that most students are knowledgeable about ICTs and attach great importance to their use in the classroom, and that most of the times ICTs are used to display content or research, students also express that with the use of ICTs can learn more. ICTs are technological tools with enormous potential in education. The positive aspects of its use in the classroom are numerous, enabling students to be more active in their search for knowledge and to act as mediator of knowledge.
