Histórias e memórias: uma análise da produção memorialista do rádio em Pombal-PB (1940-1980).

Abstract

This monographic study aims to analyze the stories and memories of the radio in Pombal, in the Paraíba countryside, from the memorialist production between the 1940s and 1980s, of the twentieth century, discussing some aspects of the daily life of the city pointed out by local memorialists. , during a moment when important transformations of the urban spaces of Brazil and the world occur. Considering that modernity and technological advancement have caused profound changes in the social and rhythmic dynamics in the human way of life, driving new habits, customs and experiences. These are narratives and reports, made available in the work Histories of the radio in Pombal (2014) by radio broadcaster and writer Clemildo Brunet de Sá, which usually deal with his own life, given the influence and participation of radio. Thus, we seek to understand how this form of knowledge production helps to build a vision about the different past of the city.
