Resumo:
rubella is a disease characterized by rash beginning insidious by rash
beginning insidious on the face, scalp and neck region, and it is also followed by
involvement of all parts of the body. The same is caused by involvement of all parts
of the body. The same is caused by the Rubivírus.
Objective: to evaluate the number of students vaccinated with the MMR vaccine and
who presented under serological evidence, evidence of antibodies that ensure
immunological protection to the natural infection of rubella virus.
Method: for this study were collected blood samples from 26 female
students, usingthe techniques of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), wint
the use of diagnostic kits PISHTAZTEB ZAMAN DIAGNOSTIC ®
for rubella. Serum samples were analyzed for students from 2st to 7th period of
the degree course in nursing thatmade use of one dose of the MMR vaccine. The
samples were collected on the premises of the institution itself. The analysis
was performed in microplate reader 12-1 x 8 (96 wells) based
on espectrofometria TEMOPLATE brand, model TP-Reader. IgG values above 10 Ui
/ml was considered positive and values less than 10 Ui / ml were considered
negative. For the data analysis was used the IBM SPSS Software version 22
(Statistical Package for the Social Science).
Results and discussion: it was found that in 100% of samples tested there
wereseroconversion, getting 213 UI/mL average (standard deviation 45,98). You can
see that the largest media of seroconversion by age group was represented by
students aged 20 to 29 years (233 UI/mL). Then the group of student with the age
group between 15 and 19 years of age has submitted the second highest average of
seroconversion (203,43 UI/mL) and the student aged 30 to 39 years presented the
lowest average of seroconversion (145,83 UI/mL).
Final consideration: it was found that in 100% of sample there was satisfactory and
excellent soroconversion titration of IgG antibodies. The MMR vaccine was shown to
be quite immunogenic, showing seroconversion in all age grow. The study
studyshowed the population student there was a lasting response and consequently
the guarantee to prevent a new infection.
