Possibly not always is prepared for possible risks or failures that may occur in high-voltage oil circuit breakers, although it seeks the identification, analysis and elimination of these possible causes which could damage all the equipment. A lack of strategy, that makes more aficassia and the causes of the failures. In line with this, the present work it is an analysis of the mode analysis tool and Failure Effect (FMEA) for high-voltage oil circuit breakers. The main objective of this review is to provide information on the components for ease of understanding of the functioning of the switch and fault identification and increased your reliability.
