For many years it was believed that health was merely the absence of disease, based on the medical model with healing purposes. With the passage of time was created the Primary Health Care and later the Family Health Strategy which aimed to meet the specific groups of society through this purpose, the Ministry of Health created in 2008 Attention National Policy Integral to Health Man. Permeated by this scenario, it is essential that the basic human needs men are met and among them stands out gender and sexuality that is still regarded as a thematic difficult to reflection and to this end, it is necessary to approach it as context Sexual education in traditional education, including the regular and the Youth and Adult Education. Thus, the general objective of this study was to evaluate the behavioral aspects of sex and male sexuality and its influence on the demand for primary health care services. The literature review of this study subdivided into three chapters, namely: The creation of the Primary Health Care: a strategy to enhance the care of the population; Sex and Male sexuality in different social contexts and health and the Youth and Adult Education: a backdrop of gaps in the health context, with emphasis on sex and sexuality. Methodologically this study was descriptive, with quantitative approach and census sampling conducted with male students enrolled in the Youth and Adult Education in the city of Cuité-Paraíba. As a tool for data collection, we used a structured questionnaire with clear, straightforward approach, referring to the subject studied. Because it is a study involving human subjects, attended 466/12 Resolution of the National Health Council and was approved by the Ethics Committee and research of the Federal University of Campina Grande in the CAAE No. 40360214.3.0000.5182. The results showed that most respondents are young adults (30.1%), students (31.8%) and farmers (25.7%) with low levels of schooling, and mostly married (31.1% ). They assert even know about sex (100%), however do not know what is sexuality (69.9%), despite being sexually active (95.1%), and having started the sexual practices of timely initiation to 12 years old (19.4%). Among the many important findings stand out sexual practices with multiple partners (43.7%) and unsecured form (65.7%). So this study provides information relevant with regard to the knowledge of men about sex and sexuality, as well as problems that prevent them from seeking the primary care services to address this issue. In this context we note the unique importance of sex education in the school systems of Education for Young Adults highlighting the nurse, who should be active in the School Health Program together with the multidisciplinary team, to help the male population to engage in sexual activity safely and conscientiously.
