Resumo:
Tuberculosis (TB) infectious and contagious characteristic features, and may be regarded as a public
health problem. It is of the utmost importance that there should be the creation of strategies designed

individual and the community. The objective of this study was to evaluate the perception of health
professionals about the difficulty in effective tuberculosis control actions. This is a descriptive study
with a qualitative approach, had 17 participants sample among doctors and nurses working in the
Family Health Strategy in the municipality of Brazil-PB. For contemplation of the research data used
the content analysis of Laurence Bardin. The survey complied with the ethical principles, provided for

the daily activities of the patient, laborers will have to miss, there is the difficulty of access for users
who need transportation to move, also noted that one of the major influences for the abandonment is
the use of drugs. It is concluded that the care of the person affected by tuberculosis should be more
extended, not restricting only the administration of medications, but watching the reports needs of
each subject, and the trader is aware, the possible risk situations, while still promoting the creation of
ties with your patient, as well as encourage health education activities, in order to promote the
expansion of the knowledge of the patient about your disease.
