Resumo:
The objective of this work is to measure the effects stemas of different systems of
environmental conditioning on the behavin of cut chickens during the months of
August and September/2002. Two hangars were used with different thermal
conditioning: hangar with amianthus tilesand artificial ventilation system without
painting (TAWP) and hangar with amianthus tiles and artificial ventilation system
with white painting in the roof (TAPC). For the indices of temperature of the black
globe and humidity (ITGU), thermal load of radiation (TLR) and relative humidity of
the air (RH), and consequently on the acting of the cut chickens, appraised for the
alive weight of the birds (AW), i win of daily weight (WDW), alimentary conversion
(AC), mortality rate (MR) and medium age discount (MAD). The experimental phase,
was accomplished at hangar of creation of cut chickens belonging to the Granja
Santissimo LTDA., located in the district of Sao Jose da Mata in the municipal district
of Campina Grande - PB, using 8800 birds of the lineage COBB, mixed lot with age
of 19 days in I begin him/it of the experiment and 49 days of age, corresponding to
the 30 days in the end of the experiment. The environmental indexes were daily
measured, in intervals of two hours, of the 7 to the 17 hours, in the internal and e
external areas of the experimental hangars. The results were analyzed statistically
through Student's t- test at 1% probability, level tends in view that the same is
recommended for comparison of averages in the conditions of this work. It was
ended, based on the environmental thermal indexes, that the hangar TAPC
presented the best results of ITGU, TLR and RH, whose values correspondents
were, on average, 73,0 k, 462 Wm"2 and 67,2% and, based on the indexes of
productive acting of the birds with relationship to the alive weight (AW), I win of daily
weight (WDW), alimentary conversion (AC), mortality rate (UR) and medium age of
discount (MAD) statistically there was not significant difference. The values of the
indexes of acting of the birds were inside of the strips considered ideals for the
creation of cut chickens in this area.
