Cuidados de enfermagem na dimensão da espiritualidade: uma revisão integrativa.

Abstract

The care transcends the technical dimension, ie, this action involves other dimensions such as cultural, social, ethical, aesthetic and spiritual, which provide a comprehensive, humane and quality care, both from the perspective of the promotion and restoration of health, and in the prevention of disease. Taking care of spirituality is being regardless of their complexity, subjectivity and uniqueness. Spirituality gives the human being a transcendental feature that is revealed by the constant search for answers to be great human questions, which aims to understand and recognize their identity as being, its purpose and existential meanings, and their future destination. The present study was aimed at ascertaining the evidence in the scientific literature about nursing care in the dimension of spirituality. The methodology included a literature review, which aims to gather and synthesize studies on the subject proposal. The bases of data were accessed: MEDLINE, LILACS and SciELO 38 articles being selected. The results showed that the nursing care in the form dimension of spirituality not yet fully implemented in practice assistance, this deficiency in the provision of care is presented arising from the lack of teaching of spirituality in nursing degree. Highlights the need to improve the personal view of nursing staff, about the attitude of caring given that the sensitivity to address human spirituality should be part of their professional skills.
