Abstract:
Religion is seen as an alternative measure for facing the health-disease process of individuals, and the relevance that it is taking forward the particularities of individuals is so obvious that we saw the need for further study. Aimed to analyze the level of religious influence across the health-disease process of the faithful of two churches located in a city of Curimataú of Paraíba: 1st Roman Catholic; 2nd Assembléia de Deus Missões. This research was descriptive, exploratory and qualitative approach where we used the method of Dialectical Materialism History. For the analysis of the collected data was performed discourse analysis technique proposed by Fiorin. We conclude that the religious environment is a new environment for the nursing interventions, which should emphasize the union of religion and science forward to coping the health-disease process of individuals. Since the faithful are aware of the importance of both to confront this process, say the influence that religion has in their personal lives.
