Estruturação da rede de atenção à saúde da pessoa idosa na atenção primária à saúde no cenário brasileiro: uma revisão integrativa.

Abstract

Nowadays, aging is an achievement for humankind and the prospect for a long and healthy life require full attention in healthcare area. One of the strategies that can also contribute to the improvement and maintenance of the elderly person's quality of life is the operation of the Health Care Network, with the aim of structuring the SUS in different areas of support. Thus, this study aimed to identify publications addressing the acting of Primary Health Care, directed to the elderly health. For this purpose, it was held an integrative review of the literature on Health Care Networks for the elderly in Primary Health Care in Brazil. It was surveyed scientific papers that addresses this topic and fit in the inclusion criteria, published between 2010 and 2015, in the following bibliographic databases: MEDline, LILACS, BFEnf. From the surveyed papers, six were used to construct this study. It was noticed that there are still many challenges to be faced until the networks succeed to carry out their functions properly. Before, it is necessary to provide means and actions to overcome the still existing fragmentation in the health care of the users, specifically of the elderly, in the unified health system.
