Resumo:
This paper addresses the art, its inclusion in education and possible contributions to the integral development of students as well as the experience of a Cultural Association based in the town of Well José de Moura-PB that develops programs in art and culture. This research asked which aspects in the art influences in the formation of children and adolescents. Thus, this monograph aimed to highlight the unique role of art in the construction of knowledge, as well as encouraging teachers to reflect on the pedagogical possibilities of working with art, and identify the contributions of the artistic experiences of the Cultural Association for integral development of students and reflect on curriculum and teaching in Arts. From this guiding principle, will be presented the main ideas of authors and researchers on the theme, with the aim of contributing to a better understanding of the subject, favoring significant results in which subsidize education professionals, showing that the insertion of Arts in education is able to build in students a fresh look at everyday things, because the sensory experience with Art enables dialogue between the visual and the verbal. The methodology used in the research literature and was a field survey in which 01 participants had as subjects Coordinator, 02 teachers and 02 students of the Cultural Association. The studies conducted in this research from the literature allowed knowledge and theoretical study on the various artistic languages. Allowed also understand and confirm the applicability of these various languages such as potentiating teaching. The results of this study demonstrate how the activities of art contribute to the formation of subjects and thus to transform the environment in which it is inserted.
