Resumo:
The objective of this work was to evaluate, in laboratory conditions, the action of the growth
promoter Viusid®Agro on the germination and initial development of plants of Lactuca sativa
L. at different temperatures. The seeds were immersed in solutions with concentrations of
Viusid®Agro (0.0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 ml ) for 12 hours. After the immersion and drying
period, they were seeded in Petri dishes and placed in a germination chamber, submitted to
temperatures of 20 and 30 ° C, For seven days. It was analyzed the IVG, simultaneously with
the germination test and morphological characteristics of the plant: shoot height (cm), root
length (cm), fresh and dry mass of plant / plate (mg). Based on the experimental data of the
present research, it was observed that the application of Viusid®Agro did not influence the
germination, however, it acts on the initial development of the plant and has a positive action
even at high temperature. He best development indexes were contacted at the concentration of
0.4 ml .
