Abstract:
This research had as main objective to understand and analyze the prenatal care before high-risk pregnancies in the municipality of Cuité-PB. It is a study of methodological basis descriptive from the perspective of qualitative approach. The study was approved by the Ethics in Research of the Center for Teacher Education of the Federal University of Campina Grande Committee under CAAE 375774 1490000 number 5575. After approval, the study was carried out in Basic Health Units of the municipality Cuité family. Data collection took place in March this year in light of the collective subject discourse technique. The study sample consisted of doctors and nurses who wished to freely participate. The speeches of the collective subjects showed the difficulties in providing assistance to prenatal high risk in the city of research and the need for a reference service of high effective risk so that care to the mother and her baby. The survey also pointed to important collaboration of professionals for safer living the pregnancy cycle, requiring greater attention from them for early diagnosis and adequate treatment of high-risk pregnancy, lowering the risks for both the mother and the fetus formation. Therefore, there needs to be greater complicity between the health service, municipal management and the users of this service. It is necessary to consider investing more to this population of high-risk pregnancy to improve the quality of prenatal care offering pregnant women a more secure and able to address the needs of a high-risk pregnancy environment.
