Resumo:
This work discusses the problems generated by the implementation of
Transnordestina Railroad works, based on the community of Sítio Caiçara located in
the municipality of Aurora - CE, which has been occurring in September of the year
two thousand and fifteen to the present day. In the face of various questions, coming
from the residents about the work, now favorable, sometimes unfavorable, and for
witnessing the moments of execution of the implementation works, since I also live in
the analyzed locality, the interest arose to investigate the matter in a more
systematized. In order to identify the perception of the people who live in the
community in relation to the railroad in question, four interviews were carried out and
forty questionnaires were applied to the residents of the locality, who are between 25
and 70 years of age, they perceive one to two minimum wages, with agriculture being
the main source of subsistence. Analyzes are presented from the quantitative and
qualitative primary data exposed in graphs and tables. In addition to the possible
macro regional benefits that the Railroad may bring, we address the effects caused,
both economic and social under the eyes of the community.
