Pre-hospital care service- PHC involves all actions that occur before the patient get sat the hospital and it can influence positively on morbidity and mortality rates. Objective: To analyze scientific article of the health area that addressing on the pre-hospital care realized by nurses in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation outside the hospital. Methodology: It is an integrative literature review. The Inclusion criteria used were: original scientific articles, integrative review and of the literature that submit in their titles, the descriptors: cardiopulmonary arrest, pre-hospital care, and/or extra hospital, Published in the period from 2010 to 2015, displayed in Portuguese language, free, with full text available on Scielo and LILACS data bases. The population was composed of 91 publications and the sample totaled 18 publications, analyzed through a data tool formulated by the researcher Results and Discussion: The analysis and interpretation was realized in two stages: 1 st: refers to information concerning to the publications, and the 2nd: contributions of publications. In the 1st step analysis, it was found a high percentage of publications in the Nurse’s journal, PEFU, In the analysis of the 1ststage, there was a higher percentage of publications in the Journal of Nursing UFPE, presenting 06 (33%) publications; as to the type of study 15 (83,3%) of the publication corresponded to original scientific articles; they stood out in the years 2011 to 2014 with a score of 4 (22,2%) publication each; the predominant methodological approach was the quantitative with 9 (50%) publications; in the sampling each article, it was got 9 (50%) publication evidencing nurses; the Southeast region has provided more than half of the publication, with a score of 11 (61,1%). It was found that the 18 titles and objectives of publications are consistent with the theme, addressing the PHC and 10 of these emphasize the cardiorespiratory arrest (CRA). In the 2nd stage, it was revealed that the working professionals in PHC need to be able to provide the appropriate assistance, especially, the nurse who in the most of the cases, he is the first to deal with the victim in CRA, he should perform the service accurately, has emotional control, be careful in the registry and notes of the procedures developed during the service. Final Considerations: It is expected that this scientific production contributes to discussion, teaching, analysis, and the realization of future research about the topic in question, considering the current referring to the prehospital care in cardiac arrest after the National Political Attention of Emergency-NPAE, serving as the scientific basis to expand the knowledge, whether short, medium or long time.
