Resumo:
Nowadays, working with the orality still represents a taboo for most of Portuguese language professors, beginning at the questions and challenges which arise in the school practices related to the oral genres that circulate among society. Thus, this work has as general aim to address the oral genres teaching in more practical terms, emphasizing some proposals of working with those genres in the last grades of elementary school II, by analyzing didactic books which are often used at the 8th and 9th grades, from the collection “Singular & Plural: leitura, produção e estudos de linguagem”. The specific aims of this work are (1) to evaluate if the oral genres are being highlighted as requisites In-class learning activities, (2) which genres are being specifically developed and (3) how the proposals are implemented, using as knowledge source the “PCN (1998)” and a group of researchers who discuss about the importance of the text genres In-class for the significant practice. This is a literature review and qualitative work, which undertake to make suggestions for the professors of Portuguese about the oral genres teaching practice in the classroom, through a didactic sequence, as a work model, considering that the attention to the oral practices In-class contribute efficiently for the language and discursive development of the learner.
