Abstract:
The eroticism is a theme which is a part of human being, in the literature this theme has breaking taboos since the texts of the ancient times, expressing what it is most evident in the human race: the sex. Currently, the great challenger is deal with thematic without recourse to cultural appeals, exorbitant and futile of the commercial arts; is offer to this poetic element an uniqueness of form, aesthetic and sense, involving something beyond of the mere sexuality representation. For this reason, trying to figure out more about the variety forms of representation of the erotic, the present work aims to analyze the eroticism representation in the Carlos Gildemar Pontes (CGP) poetry, once detected in the poetry this author an autonomy and a poetic freedom that enchants. Therefore, was used as basic methodology the theoretical and analytical research, based on studies of Georges Bataille (1987), Francesco Alberoni (1997), Josefina Pimenta Lobato (1997), among others. We understand that recurrence of the eroticism in CGP achieving what is most innovative in the poetry, because even before thinking about sex like sex, itself, makes the sex a literary instrument for which idealizes love, life and beauty of living.
