Resumo:
The study was based on the analysis of the book of Theories and Practices of the GESTAR II
Program of LP offered by MEC, in which the absence of the use of digital technologies and
media for the teaching especially of the textual genre tirinha was evident. In this way, the
objective of this study was to analyze the works that were selected in the Brazilian Digital
Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD) that approach the use of the digital media for the
teaching of strips, and after the analysis propose a continuous training course of teachers for
working with comics in LP classes, using an educational application available in the play
store called Mundo Gaturro. For this, the methodology that was used to carry out this work, is
classified as a qualitative approach (BOGDAN; BIKLEN, 1982 and LÜDKE; ANDRÉ, 1986)
and a bibliographic one (SEVERINO, 2007) And Andre, 1986). As a theoretical reference to
base the research, the main authors were: Rojo (2012), which deals with literacy and
multilearning, especially in the classroom; the National Curricular Parameters (1998) that
emphasize the significance of working the textual genres; Leite (2013) points out in his
studies the importance of the genre tirinha and Garcia (2010) on the inclusion of technology
in teaching and learning. It is concluded that, based on the analysis of the works selected in
the BDTD, the use of digital media for teaching and learning of the textual genre was not yet
included in a way that would help teachers and students satisfactorily, but only for the
exhibition of contents, since between the years of 2013 to 2018 only three works highlight the
teaching of strips with the use of digital media in LP classes. In order to ease this distance
from teachers with technological resources, a course of continuing education of teachers of
elementary school II was proposed in order to include these tools in the classroom for the
teaching and production of the tirinha genre. It is hoped that this study will serve as a new
reflection on the relevance of this method of teaching and learning. Thus, future studies are
proposed for the application of this teacher training course, as a form of improvement for
teaching.
