Abstract:
The object of investigation of the present work is to know how the solidarity economy
is present in the life of the students of Projovem Campo Saberes da Terrarogram of
the municipality of Sume - PB. Defining the object we make the choice of theoretical
and methodological foundations. For that, we used the qualitative research with the
application of questionnaires as instrument of data collection. The result was through
interpretative and descriptive analysis, making it possible to diagnose that the
Solidarity Economy is present in the lives of students, but knowledge needs to be
further developed. Based on the study, we propose that the school curriculum
embrace even more the theme of Solidarity Economy for EJA (Youth and Adult
Education), since if the modality itself is already an alternative to supply what is in
fact incomplete in the young, that is, to complete the studies, for another side also
seems to us to be solidarity economy, an alternative to fill a gap that is also present
in their lives.
