Résumé:
The present work aims to present some clippings about the relationship between
Mathematical Education and Solidarity Economy in the context of an association from the
Ethnomathematics. From a field research, set in the context of a
association located in the municipality of Sumé-PB where its members work on the
Family Farming principles. Its general objective is to analyze the relationship
between the solidary economy and Mathematical Education from family farming
developed by the farmers of that association, taking as its starting point the
food production and trade in the city of Sumé-PB. Given this we developed
a qualitative study according to Richardson (2009) of agricultural practices
developed by them focusing on mathematical knowledge
understood and used during the production and marketing of food. At

(1979 apud RICHARDSON, 2009) we conclude with this work that by conceptualizing
mathematical knowledge understood and used by a particular cultural group
in its economic activities seen from Ethnomathematics as a program of
research can relate to the Solidarity Economy and contribute directly to
self-management of the solidarity economic enterprise as farmers need
