Resumen:
This study aimed to determine the in vitro degradability of dry matter and the total gas production of oilseed press cake from biodiesel production (Gossypium hirsutum L., Helianthus annuus L., Ricinus communis, Moringa oleífera L. and Jatropha curcas L.) on the production of gas at four different levels (0, 30, 50 and 70 %) replacement for cane sugar (Saccharum officinarum RB.) in ruminant feed. Inocula were produced with the ruminal fluid

in Holstein cows three , and the samples were incubated collections of data were taken after 48 hours of incubation. Among the co-products tested had the highest degradability was the moringa and presented the lowest was the castor at all levels evaluated. For the total gas production in the coproduct with the highest gas production was the castor bean and showed the lowest production was cotton , and the coproduct of moringa in the level of 70 % showed the best results of fermentation rumen followed oilseed press cake from biodiesel production Helianthus annuus L and Ricinus communis, can replace cane sugar in ruminant feed.
