A oralidade em patativa do assaré: leitura dos poemas “cante Lá, que eu canto cá”, e “o inferno, o purgatório e o paraíso”.

Abstract

This paper presents a study of orality in poetry Patativa the Assaré. Sing the poems were investigated there, I sing here and Hell, Purgatory and Paradise, which are part of the book Sing there I sing here: philosophy of a Northeastern troubadour. Analyzing the oral aspects of his poetry can be seen in this, the diversity of themes and language, geared mainly to the humble readers of the field. The poetry of the author studied is part of the oral universe, and has in its structure simple, natural elements and above all an expression that conveys the daily struggle of the suffering people of the Northeast. For the theoretical basis of this research, the following authors have been consulted: Luis Cascudo (2006), with the approach of the origin of the term oral literature, as well as the approach to oral literature in Brazil; Sylvie Debs (2000) and Cariry Rosemberg (1977), which address the life and work of poet Nordestino Patativa the Assaré; Paul Zumthor (1997), Luiz Tadeu Feitosa (2003), Gilmar de Carvalho (2002), Martine Kunz (2000), Socorro Pinheiro and Liliana Teixeira (2013), all employees to support the pillar of theoretical sustainability for a better understanding of the oral perspective, the transition from oral to written, performance and memory, among other important factors that we will see during the development of this work.
