Resumo:
The te
xtbook is considered one of the main materials present s everyday in the classroom and
constitutes a set of possibilities from which the school selects the contents
and organizes them for construction of school knowledge, in other words, are basic
elements of the Organization of the teaching work. The purpose of this work is to
analyze how the textbook of the 9th grade year of elementary school works a
Semantic productivity for the production of meaning of the text from the perspective of
greimasian semiotic . Therefore, we list the basic concepts that involve the idea of semantic
productivity of the text. Then, we examined in the proposals of textual meaning there is
exploration of semantic productivity; a nd then we check if the proposals of meaning
productio n focus on themes and figures. This is a documentary research
of descriptive approach a nd of quantitative and qualitative nature. The research universe
counted with the four textbooks of the collection Singular& Plural: Leitura, produção
estudos de linguag em . This universe, we selected as corpus of analysis the textbook of 9t h
year of elementary school II. The categories of analysis were
the figurativização and thematization processes that function as concretion of meaning. The
result we got was that 4% do n´t work semantic productivity, corresponding to 01 proposal,
64% work partially adequate , corresponding to 16 proposals and 32% work properly
corresponding to 08 proposals, of a total of 25 proposals raised. From qualitative analysis, we
punctuated three proposals: the first that works properly semantic productivity, the second that
works partially adequate semantic productivity and the third, that does not work semantic
productivity, p roposal that the authors of the textbook i n no time makes references to the text
quoted on the page
