Health education can be understood as a health sector practice field, directly related to the creation of links and collective construction of knowledge in the multidisciplinary team and the community, considering the social, economic and cultural needs of each territory. In this perspective, the Family Health Strategy (FHS) is presented as a redesign of care model, emphasizing the importance of the link with care lines of logic in which every citizen has the right to be fully cared for by a multidisciplinary team, with also co-responsibilities producer with the service. Thus, the main objective of this research was to analyze the perception of professionals of the Family Health Strategy regarding health education and its implementation in everyday practice in Sand (PB). The research was observational transversal descriptive qualitative approach, using the content analysis method, such as specific procedure for data interpretation. Thus, to materialize the information, there were ten individual semi-structured interviews with recorded audio, with professionals working in a specific ESF that municipality. From the data obtained, abstracted-four axes for discussion and analysis: characterization of professionals; feelings related to work and professional practice; perceptions of health education and health work process. It was found that the subjects are convinced and satisfied with their professional performances, including health education, as a transformer and emancipatory tool for health promotion in the community and the city as a whole, and to consider crucial tool of engagement and set the team growth, however, its practical effectiveness in service, is still hampered by a sum of factors ranging from bureaucratic tasks, the very acceptance and participation of people in actions to the commitment of all members of staff and managers municipal health, but it is valuable to note that the subjects also consider the bond and closeness to the community, as improvers elements of health education process. Thus, it is expected that this research triggers a critical reflection on the theme within the work processes observed in the primary care services, enabling professional, sees it from different angles, and based on dialogic relations and promotion of popular knowledge, reformulate practices and actions, making them universal, comprehensive and equitable on the reality of each community attended.
