Abstract:
The purpose of this work is to discuss the use of digital technologies in History classes as a
way of reflection, communication and learning. In this sense, the new adaptations of High
School for the XXI century, requires the teachers of History discipline skills and attitudes to
develop new strategies providing learning situations involving digital technologies to teaching
history. However, the insertion of the digital resources in the classes must have an educational
intentionality, avoiding the standard patterns of reproduction of videos, films, slides,
documentaries, among others, without expressing the criticality of the pupil on the content
exposed with such resource. From these questions, the work began to analyze the use of
technological resources in the classes of the History discipline in a high school in the city of
São José de Piranhas-PB, in the Upper Sertão of Paraíba. For the methodological realization
of the research, we used the exploratory study, based on bibliographical references of
renowned authors that approach the subject discussed, such as: Ferreira (1999), Marques
(2016), France (2005), Diniz (2001), Santos (2013) and Bittencourt (2004); as well as the use
of a semi-structured questionnaire, following a previously established road map, so that the
data can be analyzed, systematized and discussed through a qualitative analysis.
