Literatura infantil e ressignificação da identidade racial da criança negra.

Abstract

This work proposes through children‟s literature the resignification of the black child identity in early childhood education, the break of stereotyped concepts around black identity and culture, taking „hair‟ as a central aspect to the affirmation of black identity. For this purpose, this work is a bibliographical research that allowed us the necessary knowledge ethnic-racial issues. We discussed the topics through a range of works that gave us a deep knowledge of our research object. The theoretical framework allowed us the necessary knowledge of the historical-social aspects of ethnic-racial relations in Brazil and the implications of this relationship for education. In order to develop an antiracist education in children's education from children's literature, it was also necessary to analyze how conceptions of childhood and child were developed in our society considering ethnic and racial concerns. We propose activities of pedagogical intervention taking the book "O mundo no black power de Tayó", written by Kiusam de Oliveira and illustrated by Taisa Borges. The set of activities around the narrative this book is based on the methodology of literary literacy through the basic sequence developed by Rildo Cosson (2014). In this sense, the concern of this work is bringing the central aspect of the discussion, that is the black hair for the resignification of children black identity, as well as bringing other African and Afro-Brazilian cultural aspects, which are indiscriminate to the black identity, also allowing a positive impact for non-black children, since they will come to perceive the beauty and importance of this identity and would value and respect the African and Afro-Brazilian culture that is part of its history and your culture.
