Resumo:
In the contemporary world the inclusion of people with different characteristics considerable
portion of the world population, recognized as 'normal' is the subject of many debates, both
within, as in the educational field; the latter being dependent on many prepared and stipulated
in the political realm decisions. However, treating the inclusion only as a way of approaching
considered 'normal' with different, is decaying into acts of disrespect for human dignity and
human rights. Enhance and clarify the importance of individuality in each of identity
formation in the socialization process is essential, especially for those who require special
care and have different forms of adaptation. For those people with special needs, the look of
the inclusion is done with a degree of greater importance, since many of these people consider
themselves unable to perform many common activities, to examine and be recognized in
schools. To be effective in schools, inclusion requires the application of various public
policies and a series of reformulations in pedagogical and didactic proposals, often going far
beyond a series of reformulations in its physical structure. Reformulations which now exist
within schools are applied and verified in each subject, in which the level of monitoring and
learning is differentiated. In the discipline of geography, for example, it is essential to
understanding the geographic area which includes the student, therefore, implies the need for
methodological changes in your application when it is directed simultaneously to students
considered 'normal' with students with special needs, forming what we call inclusive
education. Seeking to identify methodological proposals, specifically for the teaching of
geography are being used to care for students with special needs, investigate the State School
for Child Education and Elementary Don Moses Coelho, located in the municipality of
Cajazeiras, state of Paraiba, Paraiba backwoods mesoregion. Accordingly, we seek to
understand the views of educators regarding inclusive education for people with special
needs, and whether they believe in the effectiveness of current policies for this monitoring.
