Abstract:
This paper discusses the possibility of using media as a methodological reflection to
the teaching and learning of Portuguese. We consider, therefore, the data on national
assessments in the teaching of Portuguese as guiding the perception that these
lessons are outdated. We also evaluated the federal government promotion for digital
inclusion programs (TV Escola, DVD Escola, ProInfo, PBLE and PROUCA). In
addition, we also observed aspects of teacher training on the use of these new
technologies. From this, we consider a mismatch between the proposal of these
digital inclusion programs, the teacher training in the field and the training of their
students (digital natives), which can cause conflicts among the parties, to which, we
propose some methodological applications. The research was carried out based on a
literature study in which we point out authors as: Castells (1999), Fidalgo et al
(2009), Kenski (2007), Lima (2012), Tajra (2012), among others.
