Resumen:
This research, entitled "The retextualization of the tale genre to the fotonovela a
sociointeractionist perspective" aims to understand the importance and effectiveness
that the retextualization can promote in the activity with this genre. This is because,
in face of teaching practices, still strongly ingrained to traditional teaching, language
is considered a closed and decontextualized mechanism. These do not consider the
relation between language, enunciation, text, as an enunciative-discursive space and
therefore a place that must be present also the prior knowledge of each student, their
values and their culture. In this perspective, working with retextualization presented a
good chance of becoming an effective exercise to break implications and remnants of
traditionalism, in order to enhance the work with genre in the classroom and to form
readers and writers aware of the texts function in society; and consequently, their
participation, their role as social and communicative agents and therefore the
transformers of the environment in which they live. To support this study, we rely on
Bakhtin's (2011), Marcuschi's (2008); Antunes' (2009) searches; and others, who
developed researches for the study of language, texts and textual genres. As
methodology, the research is a qualitative approach of bibliographic nature which
offered great contribution to the development of the presented activity, as didactic
proposal to be worked in the classroom, through exercises of retextualization of tale
to fotonovela, at a sociointeractionist perspective, destined for students of 1st year of
high school.
