Resumo:
The present research seeks, based on the production of a documentary analysis, to
demonstrate the results achieved during the 48-month period (from March 2014 to February
2018) of the Institutional Program for the Initiation to Teaching (PIBID) Geography
Subproject, Center for Teacher Training (CFP), Federal University of Campina Grande
(UFCG), Cajazeiras campus - PB. Having as research subjects: ID Scholars, Supervisor
Teachers and Area Coordinators, the overall objective is to analyze the annual reports of the
CFP / UFCG Geography Subproject between the years 2014 and 2017. This research
fudmented in the discussions of researchers from the areas of Initial Teacher Education,
Education, and School Geography. It uses, as methodological procedures, a qualitative
approach developed through the technique of content analysis. To complement the
information, it also makes use of quantitative indicatives. Besides discussing problems of the
formative field of teachers, teaching practices, and the construction of knowledge for effective
learning. This research offers a set of data and information about three important axes of the
Geography Subproject: the accomplishment of teaching actions; the production of academic -
scientific works and participation in academic - scientific events. Thus, proving the
effectiveness and quality of the Pibid Geography Subproject in the scope of the Brazilian
Teacher Training.
