Abstract:
According to the Law of Guidelines and Bases of National Education, 11.788/08, the Supervised Internship in Education is compulsory in degree courses, being a learning activity where students have the opportunity to know your area of expertise. Internships met in elementary and secondary schools provides the contact with the school reality, and are very significant for the future profession as a teacher. This study sought to identify the role of the subjects supervised stages II and III in the training of biology teachers from the perspective of undergraduate students in Biological Sciences of the Education and of the UFCG, and Health Center, Campus Cuité. They participate in this research students who attended the disciplines of supervised internships, respectively, in periods of 2013.1 and 2014.2. The study was qualitative, based on content analysis of questionnaires given to academics. The results showed that the supervised in biology education is a defining moment in teacher education, it is during this period that the graduates have the opportunity to build their professional identity, having direct contact with the school environment, it is therefore a period who has served as a source of reflection for the students think about a teaching career.
