Resumo:
In Brazil, the population declines of amphibians has occurred frequently, which are pointed out as causes to various human activities such as the destruction of their habitat, urbanization and industrialization. Thus studies invent amphibian populations are important for the knowledge of this fauna indicates regional factors that influence the composition and distribution of these animals. This work has as objective to carry out a survey on the amount and distribution of frogs species in the municipality of Picuí-PB, taking into account factors to seasonal variation in the region as number of regulator of these individuals in the region. The study was conducted in the municipality of Picuí - PB, being the site of the study Lime dam, located at the site cave deep. Samples were collected during the period from juns 2013 to May 2014 were observed in 74 field visits, 210 individuals , including 6 esspécies (Rhinela jimi, Leptodactylus macrosternum, Leptodactylus vastus, Rhinela granulosa, Hipsiboas creptans, Sinax x-signatus) belonging to three familiaes (Bufonidae, Leptodactylidae, hilidae).of the recorded species, Rhinela jimi and Leptodactylus macrosternum were the most abundant. The anurofauna registered here presented is quite diverse as the use of habitats, and the dry season proved to be a major limiting factor in the composition of these populations.
