Estudo de avaliação do sistema de gestão ambiental ISO 14001: considerações sobre o desempenho ambiental das empresas Alumar e CVRD-MA.

Abstract

In this work the evaluation of SGA is presented in ALUMAR and in the Marine Terminal of Tip of the Wood of CVRD, according to the norm ISO 14001. For so much, it took place the description of the operational activities of those organizations, verifying it relationship with the environment, and investigating the environmental programs and operational instruments that you influenced in their environmental actings. Later, the methodology was described used by ALUMAR and for the Marine Terminal of Tip of the Wood in the implantation of SGA - ISO 14001. With the questionnaire job, with items related to the norm ISO 14001, the execution was evaluated from the organizations to the requirements of the norm. For analysis of the data the Software Statistical Package was used goes Social the Science (SPSS - Version 9.0), where through this, the consistence of the obtained information was verified and she proceeded the statistical analysis, for each one of the files of data of the researched organizations, being made use of the construction of Tables or distributions of simple frequencies and use of the Itemizada Scale. The statistical Treatments were through the techniques of Relative and Absolute Frequency of the variables; Arithmetic Average; Variance; Standard Deviation; Coefficient of Variation and; Itemizada Scale. This study allowed evaluating the System of Environmental Administration ISO 14001, implanted in ALUMAR and in the Marine Terminal of Tip of the Wood of CVRD.
