Abstract:
This presente research aims to analyze how cultural groups Acauhan Paths Culture
Points and Acauã Cultural Productions, in partnership with the Federal Government,
State and Municipal and former residents of Finance and others, want to keep alive the
memory of the Patrimony of Acauã Farm. Some concerns move this research: as the
history and the memory monument enabled construction as a theoretical framework will
base in the discussions of Choay (2006) to approach the idea of heritage; Gomes (1990)
to think using the term "guardian of memory"; Diehl (2002) to treat the memory wear
process; Le Goff (1990) with regard to discussions of memory and monuments. Work
with the Oral History, from the interviews, for that the will base in Delgado (2003).
