Avifauna surveys are extremely important to the knowledge of their community structure, providing important data on the way of life of the species of a given location. Given the importance of this knowledge, a survey was conducted of the recurring bird species in Horto Florestal Olho D'Água da Bica, located on the micro Curimataú paraibando in the municipality of Cuité. Somatized been in the region a total of 92 species in 35 different families being the most representative the Tyrannidae with 16 species, Thraupidae, with 10 species, Herons, Cuculidae, Thamnophilidae and Furnariidae with 5 species and Columbidae with 4 species. The species were identified and classified according to their sensitivity, habitat use and their trophic category. Data were obtained through observations the length of the Horto Florestal Olho D'Água da Bica. The results may be used as a basis for future practice of environmental education practices in conservation measures for birds of the HFODB.
