This papcr analy/es the educational strategies made by the Bra/.ilian Movcment Education
Foundation - MOBRAL. in the production of its educational programs. with emphasis on
apropriation of medicai knowledge. between the years 1970 and 1985. In it we question how and why, within the military govcrnments emerged an institution that was intended for adult literacy and health education as well as the complex relations that are at stake in how it sets out to produce wholesome and subjectivities orderly. In this sensc. espccially analyzed the educational strategies and lines of flight that cleverly mocked such strategies, dealing with two main arguments: the production of textbooks for the "Functional Literacy and Continuing Education" and the implementation of the "Community Education Program for Health ".
