Résumé:
Brazil occupies a prominent position on the world stage with regard to the production of goat meat and milk. With an increasingly demanding market, producers are looking for alternatives to improve their production system, reducing costs, improving the quality of their products at competitive prices compared to alternatives that are gaining strength in the market, such as chicken and pork production. Thermal stress is one of the factors that worries breeders because its effects cause damage such as loss of performance of animals, reducing milk production and hampering weight gain. Thus, developing a tool capable of collecting and displaying goat data, allowing the breeder to identify signs of thermal stress is of great importance to assist in the management of their animals, helping to improve the infrastructure of their property consequently increasing their production and still being able to prevent the onset of disease and premature death. In this context, this work proposes to develop a system to collect and display data collected from goats. Facilitating the analysis of animal behavior in relation to the variation of its body temperature, aiming to identify traces of goat heat stress. To achieve this delineated objective a qualitative research was used, through the deductive approach method, of applied nature; and as a bibliographic and documentary research technique. In the end, it was evident that the breeder can make use of technology to understand better the behavior of his animals, making better decisions to improve production.
