Cultura popular, identidade e representações: os grupos culturais na cidade de Poço de José de Moura - PB.

Abstract

Study on the construction of identity ties of the culture of the sertanejo man in the Brazilian northeast, specifically, in the high sertão from Paraíba state in the municipality of Poço de José de Moura. With this, we analyze the different cultural manifestations as reflections of the identity and the representations of the man of the sertaneja landscapes in the municipality of Poço de José de Moura-PB. In addition, we analyze the phenomena to explain the existence or not of influence of the cultural manifestations identity of the sertanejo man in the landscape of the municipality of Poço de José de Moura, making it the Land of Culture. In order to arrive at the final result of the study, an unstructured interview with representatives of civil society associations of the municipality is used, a documentary survey of cultural actions developed in the place and use of images for the analysis of the modification undergone by the landscape. As a final result of the research it is noticed that there is a concern of the cultural groups and the population of the municipality in preserving the identity of the sertanejo man, as well as his ancestral customs and beliefs, passing on the knowledge to the new generations, making the studied locality one of the more known and visited during some months of the year, as well as it recognized by the country for its cultural potential.
