Resumo:
The present monographic work has the objective to analyze the commercialization of
agroecological foods without the use of pesticides in the settlement of Acauã, in Aparecida
municipality located in the West region of Paraíba, in a theoretical-methodological approach
we will explain the emergence of agroecological settlement and commercialization of
qualitative and quantitative form through the field research bringing information collected
through interview and questionnaire, constructing data tables and comparative charts. This
basic agriculture has expanded nationally in recent decades aiming at a quality of life for
humanity. And these products cultivated through agroecology, arise mostly from peasant
agriculture in settlements as a way of subsistence of the same, that besides the historical
expropriation of the land they find difficulties in the commercialization of these products, by
the scarcity of water, technical assistance and also by part the neglect of public authorities and
others. Even with these challenges to overcome the agroecological base presents the
possibility of expansion in the city of Aparecida, since the fair is held, as well as the
agroecological fair of the municipality, the second quoted has a variety of vegetables and
fruits without the use of pesticides in addition to a variety of cakes, sweets, tapiocas among
others of natural base in benches in the city, even being paralyzed at the end of 2012, there
was its return in the year 2016, attracting new buyers and encouraging as a good initiative for
the old buyers with an improved agricultural product. The search for these products is carried
out by the districts of the municipality, where the demand for these foods commercialized
with high nutritional and commercial quality aims to be comprehensive in other cities, already
in the fair the farmers of the settlement previously mentioned, also participated in this
commercial expansion and sometimes installed in the cities of São Francisco, São José de
Lagoa Tapada, Sousa and Cajazeiras. In the city of Aparecida, this free market was held on
Sundays when the peasants stayed on makeshift stands, and the planting of these products was
carried out in the Acauã settlement and by merchants from other cities. So even with the
difficulties encountered these peasants resist adversities and create means of
commercialization and subsistence, through agroecology, using the proper and conscious
management of the land.
