Resumo:
The mathematical modeling allows performing studies related to the
transformers design to operate in different frequencies, to the power quality of equipment, to the monitoring and diagnosis of operative conditions and to the simulation and prediction of the equipment behavior characteristics. Thus, in this document is present a mathematical modeling of single phase transformers based on
excitation current frequency response. The open circuit test was performed for different frequencies and the frequency response of excitation current, magnitudes of harmonic components and phase difference between the voltage and excitation current fundamentals were determined. Furthermore, the magnetizing parameters frequency
response was determined. With the excitation current and magnetizing parameters frequency response, it was verified that exponential sum functions represent with a good accuracy the excitation current and magnetizing parameters. Moreover, the results contribute to the improving of mathematical model and circuit equivalent model in
single phase transformers.
