Resumo:
The present work analyzes the main difficulties between teaching learning in two public
schools, Severina Ferreira de Sousa Municipal School and the State School of Elementary and
Secondary School Dr. Jose Gadelha, located in the city of Aparecida PB, the objective of this
work is to investigate the possible causes that lead to either these difficulties occurring,
approaching the teaching-learning relationship between student and teacher, thus presenting
low learning in Geography, which can lead to a disinterest of students in this discipline. The
work was done in the form of debates and questionnaires, based on the results obtained in the
debates and the answers of the questionnaires, graphs were elaborated with the main answers
of the students, identifying several factors that caused the difficulties, such as: distance from
home to school , the teaching method of the discipline that is still rooted in traditionalism, the
disinterest of the students for finding the discipline tedious, the poor training of the teacher
who teaches the discipline. Among other problems that may lead the students of such schools
to disinterest for the discipline of Geography.
